Laboratory

Our research interest is applications of commutative algebra to mathematical and data sciences. We are particulaly interested in computing Groebner basis of ideals/modules systematically related to polynomial models appearing in algebraic statistics. We also welcome students who want to be a (junior) high school teacher.

Research

My research interest is in commutative algebra. I am particularly interested in the theory of integral closure, multiplicity, and Rees algebra of ideals/modules. I am also interested in computational aspects of commutative algebra and its applications to mathematical and data sciences.
