I went to Catanduanes Island in the Philippines.
The island lies in an area particularly prone to typhoons and is also a major production area of Abaca (or Manila hemp). Together with Nicca, a doctoral student in our lab, I am researching people's risk perception and behavior on the island.
It was a fruitful trip, and I enjoyed my stay so much. I would like to thank everyone at Catanduanes State University for their help during my stay. Thank you very much!
