To welcome all new members, we held a Lab welcome dumpling party!

Eighteen students have graduated from our lab: nine from the Department of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering course, six from the Master's program, and three from the Doctoral program in the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Science in Health Systems. Congratulations on your graduation! We look forward to your success in your new stage!

Master course students Tanizawa, Nanimatsu, and Doctoral candidates Chenyu Wang, Xiangfu Yang presented their works at the 27th Annual Meeting of the Japan Human Brain Mapping Society (JHBM2025) which was held from Mar 7 & 8, 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.

Dr. Yang presented some of JST FOREST project works at 5th “Place for Fusion” which was held from Feb 13 - 15, 2025 in Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), Okinawa, Japan.

Prof. Yang attended the AMED Multidisciplinary Frontier Brain and Neuroscience Discoveries (Brain/MIND 2.0) kick-off meeting, which was held from Oct 15-17, 2024, in Tokyo, Japan.

Congratulations to the three doctoral candidates who completed their dissertations and earned their PhD degrees (Rongxia Ren, PhD; Nan Zhang, PhD; Shengnan Li, PhD)! We also have two new members, Qiuzi Dong, and Yue Huang, who joined our lab in October. Welcome to the new members, and we have 36 student members in our lab now!

Prof. Yang gave an invited talk at the Siemens Healthcare K.K. Sponsored Symposium [Advanced MRI Research for Brain Function Exploration] of the 9th Annual Scientific Meeting of the ISMRM Japanese Chapter, which was held on Sep 21st, 2024, in Chiba, Japan.

Doctoral candidates Chenyu Wang, Zimo Li, Xiangfu Yang presented their works at the 47th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society (NEURO2024) which was held from Jul 24 - 27, 2024 in Fukuoka, Japan.

Dr. Yang presented some of JST FOREST project works at 3rd “Place for Fusion” which was held from Jul 4 - 5, 2024 in Kyoto, Japan.

Dr. Yang and Dr. Yu presented some of our recent collaborative works at 30th Organization for Human Brain Mapping Annual Meeting (OHBM2024) which was held from Jun 23 - 27, 2024 in Seoul, South Korea.

On May 15th and 16th, we held a hands-on lecture on cognitive neuroscience by Dr. Hiroki Yamamoto of the Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies, Kyoto University. The training focused on psychological experiment data analysis using the R language and EEG analysis using MNE-Python!
